Major religious groups in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. 51.5% are members of the United Church of Christ (formerly Congregational), 24.2% are members of the Assemblies of God, 8.4% are members of the Roman Catholic church, 8.3% are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons),^[1] 2.2% are members of Bukot Nan Jesus (also known as Assembly of God Part Two), 1.0% are members of the Baptist church, 0.9% are members of the; Seventh-day Adventists church, 0.7% Full Gospel, 0.6% are members of the Baha'i Faith.^[1] Persons without any religious affiliation account for a small percentage of the population.^[1] The Jehovah's Witnesses were believed to have a few hundred practitioners, Jews fewer than 20, and the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community fewer than 10.^[1]

Foreign missionaries are present and operate freely.^[1] Religious schools are operated by the Roman Catholic Church, United Church of Christ, Assemblies of God, Seventh-day Adventist Church, Bukot Non Jesus, and the Baptist Church.^[1] The Constitution provides for freedom of religion, and the Government generally respects this right in practice.^[1] In 2007, the US government received no reports of societal abuses or discrimination based on religious belief or practice.^[1]
