I live in Arizona, USA. My main focus on Wikipedia is working on articles about entertainment and fiction (particularly anime and science fiction, which is probably not a big surprise), though I do enjoy working on much more than just those kinds of articles. Lately I've been more active in meta space than in article space, focusing on discussions and technical features such as templates. I'm also very interested in applying some of the methodology of Wikipedia to other wikis around the internet, which lead me to start up WikiProject Transwiki.
Unfortunately my personal time is being consumed by some other stuff lately, and I'm not nearly as active as I once was. Don't let that stop you from leaving me a message or asking for assistance if you feel I can be of some help! I will always be a Wikipedian, and look forward to always having at least some level of contribution to this great project. I also plan on getting more active again to at least finish a number of projects/ideas that I've either had or was involved in.

Talk:List of Marvel Cinematic Universe television series
Adventure into Fear was a planned programming block for Hulu before it was cancelled, with sources conflicting on whether it would be tied to Agents of SHIELD at the time and with no source marketing the show as part of the MCU. The sole show produced for it, Helstrom, was described by its showrunner as being "not part of the MCU" or its canon, and saying that its exclusion from the MCU allowed the creative team to "focus on our people, our characters, our story." As this list is exclusively for series that are part of the MCU, would there be support for removing all information regarding Adventure into Fear from this page and leaving a link to that page (which will have all relevant information added) in the See Also section? I Am Groot is a short-form television series developed for Disney+, much like Forky Asks a Question and The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse on the same platform. Would it be appropriate to create a section on this page dedicated to covering I Am Groot, appropriately noting that it is a short-form series distinct from the other shows included? The term "LGBT" (which stands for "lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender") is quite ubiquitous, and it may be safe to think that everybody knows what does it stand for with no need to explicitly clarify it. Cambalachero (talk) 13:59, 12 September 2023 (UTC) |
Should the term "most points in Ballon d Or history used in the article or there is consensus that there are no reliable sources on that and it is just original research intepretation of some journalist? While it is no surprise many IP or rare users add trivial stats to articles about Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi then I was shocked when User:PeeJay (experienced editor) restored this thing. Khelnow.com is not reliable source an that system of points does not make any sense. France football never make any officlal list of most points in history but if new term "most Ballon d r points in history" has been introduced then Messi would have more points than Cristiano Ronaldo and Johan Cruyff would have more than Modric. Back then there were much less !voters in that, although players could achieve certain places then they did not receive a lot of points: that is the problem. As France Football (or any other organisation as UEFFA or at least other reliable source) never published rnking with proper analyse there is no need to add such WP:NOTSTATS. Additionally it is featured article so that not reliable fake information about most points in history could butcher and disgrace the article. It does not make any sense if for 1956 Ballon d'Or first place holder had 47 points and for 2021 Ballon d'Or 9-th place holder had 58 points, in 2014 FIFA Ballon d'Or as points were "percentages, meanwhile in 2022 Ballon d'Or points were hidden, etc., so total mix up and, so big disapointed that not verifited thing was ever added to Wikipedia and yet resorted. Should this article include the Royal Standard of Ireland, the traditional provincial flag of Ulster, the Scottish Saltire flag, and the flag of England (as shown in this version of the article) to illustrate and provide a visual representation of the ancestral countries/provinces of the Ulster Scots? This has been extensively discussed above, but there seem to be too few editors involved yet to put the matter to rest with a clear enough consensus, pro or con, to move on. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 06:34, 8 September 2023 (UTC) |
Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (royalty and nobility)
For over a decade now the titles of articles about British monarchs have been at Elizabeth II, George VI, Edward VIII, etc. Likewise it has been 13 years since Maria Theresa of Austria was moved to Maria Theresa (discussion) and Louis-Philippe I of France to Louis-Philippe I (discussion), longer still since Napoleon I of France was abandoned for Napoleon. Three years ago the country qualifiers were dropped for titles such as Juan Carlos I and others (discussion), Carl XVI Gustaf and others (discussion), Elizabeth I (discussion) and others, Louis XIV and others (discussion), etc.
This year multiple attempts to move articles back to the Name Number of Country format failed: Alfonso XIII to Alfonso XIII of Spain and similar (discussion), Napoleon III to Napoleon III of France and similar (discussion), Elizabeth II to Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and similar (discussion) Should a point be added to WP:SOVEREIGNS to reflect these changes and explicitly endorse the use of shorter titles where no disambiguation is needed?
