The Santo Domingo Global Film Festival (abbr. FCGSD; Spanish: Festival de Cine Global de Santo Domingo, República Dominicana) is an annual FIAPF Competitive feature film festival specialized in first films held yearly each January in the Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Since its creation in 2006, it has established itself as the most important cinematography event in the Dominican Republic Competitive feature film festival specialized in the first films accredited by the FIAPF in 2017; began for the first time in the most prestige theater in the country, the Eduardo Brito National Theater, with a grand opening attended by Andy García, Zoe Saldaña, and Emilio Estefan. Omar de la Cruz has served as the festival's director since 2010.
