This is a list of redirects that have been proposed for deletion or other action on December 9, 2014.

B. Gamboa[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. --BDD (talk) 14:36, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Why would "B. Gamboa" redirect to "Pearlasia Gamboa"? She did use many names (see old revision of the page), one of them being "Bae Elvira Gamboa" but I don't think that is enough to make this redirect useful. Vanjagenije (talk) 23:18, 9 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete as too vague, even for a dab. It can point to any people with a "Gamboa" surname that has either a first name or middle name that starts with "B". --Lenticel (talk) 05:27, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Anthony Val Gary B. Gotanco[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.

This redirects to a page Pearlasia Gamboa with no reason. That article does not mention Gotanco. The article (Pearlasia Gamboa) was recently heavily edited by User:Bromley86, but even before those edits, it did not mention any Anthony Gotanco. Vanjagenije (talk) 23:14, 9 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete it seems that this guy is related to Pearl Asia but I can't find reliable cites which proves that he is indeed connect to Ms. Gamboa. It's probably best to delete this unless reliable cites can be added to the article which alludes to their connection.--Lenticel (talk) 05:36, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Alta Museum[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was keep. --BDD (talk) 14:34, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It has no content. It only redirects to another article which has not been fully completed. Gramalow (talk) 15:20, 9 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. Redirects are not deleted just because its target article has little or no content. The alternate name as stated by the redirect is mentioned in the opening sentence of the target article. Steel1943 (talk) 15:48, 9 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Steel1943 although the article could use some expansion from our Norwegian editors. --Lenticel (talk) 05:29, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per above. Personally I feel there might also be some grounds to reverse the redirect per WP:COMMONNAME, but never to delete. Redirects are supposed to not have content, and the target is at a nice place as a stub. 野狼院ひさし Hisashi Yarouin 12:08, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I have no opinion on the direction, I was just fixing a copy/paste. Dougweller (talk) 17:35, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thrilla in NAIA[edit]

The result of the discussion was delete. --BDD (talk) 14:32, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The redirect makes no sense to the subject of the target page. Theenjay36 (talk) 09:07, 9 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. Seems several different things are known by this name according to Google, including boxing matches, streetbrawl at the airport, etc. -- 67.70.35.44 (talk) 11:21, 9 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete it's just a meme based on a trivial news item where the actress and her husband had a fistfight with a prominent journalist at NAIA. --Lenticel (talk) 03:50, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Kia Sorento and keep, respectively. --BDD (talk) 14:17, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Kia Sorentos might cause confusion with Kia Sorento. Meanwhile, Kia Kamao is just a name proposed for the team. Theenjay36 (talk) 00:57, 9 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
