• @King of all fruit: A result of links pointing towards a disambiguation page isn't necessarily a reason to halt a move/redirect retarget. Granted yes, we best fix the links while we have a chance per WP:FIXDABLINKS, but not fixing the links shouldn't necessarily hinder a redirect from targeting a possibly more appropriate target. That, and if this retarget happens, the disambiguation page will soon later automatically be tagged with an {{Incoming links}} template, allowing editors to resolve the links with haste. I started working on the links myself, and some of them do not intend to link to Wolverine (character) ... such as the link I just corrected on {{Warren Ellis}}; the link on the template intended to target Wolverine (comic book). • The title, "Wolverine (comics)" has either been about or redirected to the character for years, so the existence of links intending the comic book is a matter of carelessness on the part of the editors who made those links.
