Shandy Hall was the historic home of the writer Laurence Sterne. The museum - operated by the Laurence Sterne Trust - displays period rooms with Sterne's possessions, the largest collection of Sterne's first editions and also shows contemporary art inspired by Sterne's work.

Shandy Hall are beginning their GLAMwiki partnership through the regional Yorkshire Network Project (July 2014 - July 2015). They have begun an image release, sent staff to a training session and are arranging further training for students at Northumbria University. This is funded by Wikimedia UK.
