Nihonjoe, my apologies for taking so long to find the material to reply. WikiEDU publishes an Instructor basics guide which says on page 8 that students "can read Wikipedia’s username policy and consider how anonymous they want to be". As I understand it, the WikiEDU dashboard gives instructors the ability to link Wiki usernames with students' real life identities out of public view. Course instructor requests (on pain of failing the course) that their students DOX themselves, are unnecessary.
