Local restaurant with nothing noteworthy except a name change, which would fall under NOT NEWS. the sources are local, except for one travel guide. (I know it's been in DYK on the main page; a/c the template "passes newness, copyvio check, hook interest and citability, " What it does't pass is notability. and WP:NOT. Looking at the instructions at WP:DYKR, those comsiderations are not included among the criteria.) DGG ( talk ) 17:28, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep, this is not a regular cheesesteak joint, it is currently a top rated awarding winning restaurant and has received national acclaim and has surpassed Geno's Steaks and Pat's King of Steaks in ratings. The restaurant has received the same coverage as The Halal Guys, and is a notable restaurant which passes GNG. Valoem talk contrib 21:33, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Comment - Every cheesesteak joint is "a top rated awarding winning restaurant", surpassing Pat's and Geno's in local ratings in one or more of dozens of local publications over the years. Ask them and they'll tell you which ones. There's a fresh crop of them every year from Philadelphia magazine, the Inquy, the Daily News, South Philly Review, Fox 29, NBC 10, etc. What we need is substantial coverage in non-local reliable sources. - SummerPhDv2.0 23:26, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep – Meets the GNG per a source review, and also meets WP:AUD having received national-level coverage (AUD examples: [1], [2], [3], [4] [3 ¶]. North America1000 23:37, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep I found a LOT of local coverage and even some national. Also found it in a book called "Roadfood, 10th Edition" - which catalogued restaurants all over the country and had a long writeup about this one. I think it passes the test.
