I must admit a lack of general knowledge in the field, but the article as written does not appear to show her as notable. Delete. (But I'd like to hear thoughts from people who actually know the field.) --Nlu (talk) 04:20, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep: It actually looks like she meets WP:BIO to me. I think the problem is that, from a Wikipedia perspective, References and External Links have been inverted. I've looked at a couple of the EL, and they appear to meet our WP:RS guidelines as substantial independent reviews of West's exhibitions. This seems to meet the requirement of multiple instances of non-trivial coverage. Qwyrxian (talk) 05:07, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep: I think Qwyrxian is right about the functional reversal of the "reference" and "external links" section headings. The external links include e.g. this extended article from the UK Guardian newspaper, as well as this article-length profile from Frieze and this similarly-detailed one from Artforum (both prominent design publications). That level of international coverage is for me enough to indicate compliance with WP:BIO. It needs inline cites, for sure, but I don't think it needs deleting. - Keep Meets WP:CREATIVE. Cleaning up the inversion of sources and external links can be done with just a bit of work. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 07:25, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep Her exhibition record alone qualifies her per WP:ARTIST. The article needs a clean-up and references, but otherwise she's notable. freshacconci talktalk 13:51, 18 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
