Wiki Hatch is a meetup organised by the Wikimedia fan club, University of Ilorin. It is a meetup organised to recruit new members to the club with focus or emphasis on students in their first year of academic studies. It will be a meetup in which student members will be enriching their experience and skills as Wikipedians as they engage in training sessions, to create articles on Wikipedia and also help improve Wikipedia articles and engage in Wikipedia related activities and discussions.
The training seeks to align the new stream of emerging editors with the community policies and practices that have kept Wikipedia's standard.
