February 2016[edit]

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Miss Colombia  with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 09:44, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced articles[edit]

Hello. Please stop creating totally unsourced articles (as you did with Miss Gambia, Miss Syria and Miss Greenland). All articles created, and all material added, must be provided with reliable sources to establish notability, because Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a blog or a fan forum. So please read Wikipedia's rules about notability, verifiability, what constitutes reliable sources and how to cite sources/references before creating any more articles. Thomas.W talk 10:17, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Non-information[edit]

Could you please only add relevant information to articles and templates. An edit like this is utterly useless has it bears no relevant information. The Banner talk 11:56, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Idem for Miss Chinese Taipei The Banner talk 12:39, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Disruptive editing[edit]

What on earth are you doing? Your edit on Miss Internacional Chile is a complete useless and senseless exercise. It comes close to vandalism. Please stop with those edits. The Banner talk 17:55, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Historical Flags in Pageant articles.[edit]

Please don't remove the modifiers in the flag icons. Doing so would be historically inaccurate even though in some cases there is just a slight difference with the modern flag than the historical flag, (like in the case of the Philippines Philippines (adopted in 1986)
Philippines (adopted since 1998) which has a different shade of blue) or radically different just the case of South Africa South Africa (adopted 1928) and South Africa (adopted since 1994). A Miss South Africa representative won't be represented by the newer flag pre-1994 during the Apartheid period because the flag doesn't exist yet at that time. Just like the Soviet Union's representative won't be represented by the Russian flag Russia instead of the Soviet Union Soviet Union flag.

Maybe you are not aware of this function of the flagicon template. I assume Good faith. Here some use guidelines.

{{flagicon|Hong Kong}} displays as Hong Kong while
{{flagicon|Hong Kong|colonial}} displays as Hong Kong

"colonial" or a year eg. "1956" (which usually refers when that particular flag is adopted. would determine which historical flag to use. To determine which values are valid refer to "Template:Country data X" where "X" is the country in question. To determine the range of when a particular flag is used refer to "Flag of X" articles where "X" is the country in question.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 16:26, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Kezia Warouw, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://player.mashpedia.com/player.php?q=xO7XIF3jwns.

It is possible that the bot was mistaken and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Disambiguation link notification for March 13[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Connie Jiménez, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Los Ríos. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Vidatafazoli, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Kezia Warouw has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 22:12, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

March 2016[edit]

Copyright problem icon Your addition to Ntandoyenkosi Kunene has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 22:30, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at List of Miss Universe titleholders. Your edits have been or will be reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. The adding of a crystal ball, as you did on many articles, is not usefull. Only when you have serious and sourced content a new line in a table should be made.
