June 2011[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. [1] MER-C 11:24, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

September 2011[edit]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Archaeology. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. July 2012[edit]

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Paris, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. NeilN talk to me 15:12, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Sidney Sheldon's Angel of the Dark, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
  • It appears to be a clear copyright infringement. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Shirt58 (talk) 10:55, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

August 2012[edit]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Matsuo Bashō. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. gråb whåt you cån (talk) 12:55, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

October 2012[edit]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Search engine optimization, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. bonadea contributions talk 08:26, 15 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your only warning; if you insert a spam link to Wikipedia again, as you did at Herman Melville, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Blocked[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for adding spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Email[edit]

Hi there. Thanks for your email. If you want to be unblocked, please use {{unblock|reason=Your reason here}}, and another administrator will review it. GedUK  07:19, 26 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I have provide a appropriate information about Wikipedia pages where i have put external link and i was exact mach from specific page. if it seem spamming i am really apologies for it and will care full about new posting.

Decline reason:

You were advised as early as July to stop posting spam links, as per WP:SPAM and WP:EL. As you chose to ignore those requests to stop, we have no choice but to prevent further damage pending your understading as to why they are inappropriate (✉→BWilkins←✎) 13:27, 26 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I'm posting this on behalf of the User who emailed me the above. GedUK  11:16, 26 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've reviewed your contributions thus far, and it appears that almost all of your edits consist of adding links to a web site called printasia. What would your edits be, if you were unblocked? -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 11:34, 26 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you find those links of printsasia inappropriate, you can remove them. I applied link of printsasia on wikipedia because I just wanted to share information about the books. Kindly don't block my account. I will take care of it and won't add such links next time. - Scottaleger
