Fair use rationale for Image:A separate reality.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:A separate reality.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Disregard this, this user is trolling. He has put this on the userpage of at least 8 users and reverted my replies. Herunar (talk) 16:15, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Carlos Castaneda Article[edit]

I have deleted the "Deleted Section" section from the talk page. Joshua Issac (talk) 19:45, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your email. I don't have much time on my hands at the moment for editing, but I am sure you will do a great job improving the article. I'll be standing by to supply advice, sources when I can find them, copyediting and general help. I don't have a lot of sources for mesoamerican religion and anthropology in my house and I am unable to get to a proper library at the moment. But please go a head and commence work on the article and I and probably most of WIkiproject Mesoamerica (thought about joining?) will be ready to offer help and assistance.·Maunus· ·ƛ· 18:41, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

vegetarian article[edit]

Great! Thanks for making those additions. When I saw you'd changed the page I was afraid you'd reverted earlier version with all the meat info. It's really crazy to have long sections in the veg article about eating meat. If you have a chance, take a look at revising the 1st ph of the Judaism section too. Thanks Bob98133 (talk) 19:40, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Drug policy of Sweden - 3O[edit]

It looks like you joined the discussion at Drug policy of Sweden as a neutral party in response to a Third opinion request, but are now actively involved in the dispute. Third opinion is limited in scope to helping resolve issues between two parties, but at present your involvement takes it out of the scope of our intervention. I can't ask you to stand down, but if we continue forward with your active participation, I think that we will have to suggest that the parties seek mediation. What do you think? Thanks. --Kevin Murray (talk) 09:08, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I agree with your comment. It seems that we have come to somewhat varied conclusions. I'm not sure whether I should stay involved going forward to mediation. I've asked for advice from a long time 3O participant. Thanks! --Kevin Murray (talk) 10:04, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Origin of religion[edit]

Thanks for your comment on my talk page. I left my reply over there. It felt good to have another editor show they also felt some concern. Even if we see it different ways? The WP:GHBH comments needed to be made in my opinion. I get the feeling that now it's been mentioned, if I'm on the right track at least, that the problem will cure itself? I'm awaiting another administrators responce, so I'll cool the ArbCom request for now.--Sting Buzz Me... 01:56, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RE:Universal reconciliation[edit]

First thing's first: thank you! Secondly, ref 18 said something like "Catholic Herald, 7 January 2005", right? If so, I thought that the cite gave next to nothing to work with; how do you tell which article made on 7 January 2005 could be used for the article in question? Hey, do you mind just saying something about me here. The users (one is a World of Warcraft player) and the others seemed to have put a lot of effort into this "rfc/U", but they completely take it out of context. I tried following that flow-chart thing for Dispute Resolution, but I lost my patience in accordance to the clause in respect to seeking an admin. Anyway, this is what I mean. "Forgets" to emphasize that I sought help from 2 admins and didn't lose any courteousy. I you can, just try and give your opinion on me. InternetHero (talk) 20:46, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

User:ShadowVsScientology was recently banned. I noticed it on Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Cirt. The user behind this account apparently opperated another trolling account in the past. Nobody noticed this new account until the RFA. I just pointed it out on the talk page because the user's comment seemed to be getting at some broader issue with User:Justallofthem that didn't seem helpful. "Organized religion" generally refers to an organization of people supporting the exercise of some religion with a prescribed set of beliefs, often taking the form of a legal entity (see religion-supporting organization). Other religions believe in personal revelation.

Adrianne Wadewitz edit-a-thons in Southern New England

Adrianne Wadewitz was a feminist scholar of 18th-Century British literature, and a prolific editor of the site. As part of a worldwide series of tributes, New England Wikimedians, in conjunction with local institutions of higher learning, have created three edit-a-thons that will be occurring in May and June. Proposed deletion of Amalia Marquez[edit]

The article Amalia Marquez has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Biography on a non-notable, possibly living person. Article is essentially a WP:COATRACK to talk about Cleargreen Incorporated, who don't sound like a particularly swell bunch of folks, but who do have their own article if people want to write about them.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
