Welcome!

Welcome to Wikipedia!!! First of all, I would like to thank you for visiting Wikipedia and my personal page. I'm a native speaker of English, and love reading fantasy books; may I introduce some to you? The Dragonlance series, Shannara series, and Animorphs are my favourites. Anyway, I hope that Wikipedia will become an even better encyclopedia than it is already.

I just came back from a very long Wikibreak; so I just want to let you Wikipedians know that somewhere out there, I'm still alive. That means you're free to ask me any questions, or contact me about anything (and everything). I'm still open for coaching, so send me a message if you need a coach. If you want someone else for whatever reason, look here. I'm only free on weekends though, so I won't be able to respond to your messages that quickly. And my autograph page is still up and running, so don't hesitate to add your siggie in there! And I have a couple (only a couple, I'm afraid...I'm too lazy to make more =)) of cards that I've made featured here; take a look! Well, that's all I guess. Cheers and a happy new year to you! Edit: I am no longer active on Wikipedia (as a User, at least) so I'm afraid I can't answer questions from anyone - I suggest that you try looking for an active User around the site if you really need help. When all else fails, moderators, admins, even the Community Portal on your left will work. See you around!

Stuff you might find interesting[edit]

Valère Basilica
The Valère Basilica is a fortified Catholic church in Sion, in the Swiss canton of Valais. It is situated on a hill at an altitude of 615 metres (2,018 ft), and faces Tourbillon Castle located on the opposite hill. The first parts of the building were constructed around 1100, with numerous additions over the subsequent centuries. It was designated a minor basilica in 1987. The site is a listed as a Swiss heritage site of national significance, which includes the surrounding hill due to the large number of protected plant and animal species present there. This photograph shows the Valère Basilica in February 2021, with the Haut de Cry, a 2,969-metre (9,741 ft) peak of the Bernese Alps, in the background.Photograph credit: Christian David

Citation footnotes

Use the <ref> tag to add references to your articles presented as footnotes. This tag is easy and convenient because it allows you to cite your sources within your text and have them automatically numbered and added to your References section at the end of the article. To cite a source, simply type the <ref> tag after the statement the reference is for.

For example: Haliburton park is the largest park in the world.<ref>Bill Harton (2005). http://www.linkhere.com. Retrieved March 3, 2005.</ref> Then, at the end of your article, add the following template to include all of the citations in your article: {{Reflist}} directly under the References or Notes section title.

Tip of the moment...
What can be included in Wikipedia?

Wikipedia has only a few limitations on what topics it covers. Recipes and how-to articles are not included in the main namespace, but just about everything else is.

In which other encyclopedia do you find a list of sex positions, an article about nose picking or one about William Shatner's version of Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds? As long as an article is verifiable, informative and neutral, it has a pretty good chance of being acceptable (see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not for some other common rules). We strive to collect the sum of human knowledge, some of which may be trivial, but nevertheless is part of our cultures and our histories. Wikipedia is not paper‍—‌we need not worry about space constraints.
