This is ridiculous. Why is the Ribeiro dos Reis Cup not included? It was an official competition organized by the Portuguese Football Federation and it was the predecessor of the Portuguese League Cup. If you include the Campeonato de Portugal, the Portuguese Cup's predecessor, then why not this one? Seems like an incoherent decision to benefit FC Porto. Someone please fix this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cpt Kid (talk • contribs) 08:01, 19 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not only TRR is a NON-OFFICIAL competition (NOT recognized by UEFA), but also there is a big mess up with the "Taça Império" statistic. Benfica's supposedly 3 TI titles are friendly games against a team named Império. The only Taça Império that existed was the one won by Sporting, and that one is non-official as well. It's disgracefull that this table is highly inacurate because some people can't put their superiority complexes aside. This page is supposed to be factual data, not biased opinions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.136.124.210 (talk) 15:52, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Iberian Cup and Latin Cup were official competitions, considering adding them to the table[edit]

Although both Latin and Iberian Cups are not part UEFA's Honours, they were still backed up by football federations. In fact, the Portuguese Football Federation even provided the trophy for Benfica's Iberian Cup win. Keep in mind that only 2 editions of the Iberian Cup were backed by both federations.

As for the Latin Cup, UEFA didn't even exist back then, and the Latin Cup was the major european cup at the time. The latin cup was also supported by the portuguese, french, spanish and italian federations.

Although I didn't include both the Latin cup and the Iberian cups when I made this table (yes I was the guy did it), I always considered it.

Benfica: 1 Latin Cup, 1 Iberian Cup Setubal: 2 Iberian Cup

Toyota Cups[edit]

The Toyota Cups which FC Porto won doesn't count because unlike the Intercontinental Cups they weren't organised by UEFA and CONMEBOL so they aren't considered official competitions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CoUser1 (talk • contribs) 14:09, 4 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

By this logic, friendly games between Império and Benfica count as titles because the Federation "made them official". But UEFA recognized competitions don't count (even though UEFA themselves count them on their website) because they were not organized by UEFA? Sad Benfica fans will continue to plague this page until there is no sun. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.136.124.210 (talk) 15:57, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
