Comment from Lnashley[edit]

The article should be created because this is the first dating service to set up short notice blind dates and sparked a number of programs/services imitating it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lnashley (talk • contribs) 18:35, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

offline?[edit]

This service has been offline since February. The article should reflect that it does not appear to be returning. Reference: [1]. 173.64.122.99 (talk) 22:57, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The reference doesn't say that Crazy Blind Date went offline in February. I accessed the website today, and it seems to be under construction. Do you have a reliable source (forums aren't reliable because they have not received the fact-checking that newspapers / other media have received) that says that the service has been under construction since February? [2], dated early April references the site being down for a "brief hiatus". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.64.122.99 (talk) 02:03, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for providing the source! I've added the content and the reference into the article. Best, Cunard (talk) 21:20, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Is this really offline? The website seems to be up, and I can find the android app link as well... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.96.211.220 (talk • contribs) 19:44, 4 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Are they going to launch it?[edit]

It has been almost 2 years since they shut it down for a later release but they still haven't done it.
Does anybody know why they haven't released it? Are they going to release it? When approximately are they going to release it?--tumaru 23:44, 12 February 2012 (UTC)

I have been unable to find reliable sources that have said why Crazy Blind Date has not been released, though I found this 2010 forum discussion on Quora hereWebCite that may shed some light on why the website has not been released. A comment from Joshua Seims:

OKCupid launched it as an experiment. It got some traction, but they didn't do much to push it and the site fizzled out. It never achieved a self-sustaining critical mass.
