MediaWiki:Cite error refs without references was updated on 7 Feb. If you check the individual talk pages you will see that they are no longer in Category:Wikipedia pages with broken references. The job queue is so backed up right now that talk pages are still appearing and disappearing regularly. --—— Gadget850 (Ed) ^talk - 12:19, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

So that's why it went down from over 7000 to almost 4000 at the present moment. And I was hoping it had something to do with a few templates I fixed.
