Description

German WW2 era Heavy Assault Gun Manufacturer:- Alkett Built:- 1942 Total production:- 24 Main Armament:- 150mm slG 33/1 Infantry gun Built by mounting the slG 33 infantry gun on to a StuG III chassis, only 24 slG 33B were produced and were intended as heavy infantry. They saw action on the Eastern Front where this sole-surviving example was captured by Soviet troops. Repainted in a period colour scheme, it is now on display in Hall 9 of the Patriot Museum Complex. Park Patriot, Kubinka, Moscow Oblast, Russia.
