English: Major-General Sir Hector Archibald MacDonald Memorial in Dingwall. The son of a crofter who became the commanding officer of the Highland Brigade during the Boer War, known as "Fighting Mac". The memorial was completed in 1907, and is 100 ft high. A very prominent feature in Dingwall.
