Description
English: Defensive tunnel in Southsea Castle The castle is surrounded by a dry moat. This tunnel is within the outer wall of this moat and enables defenders to fire inwards at anyone attempting to scale the castle walls. There are loopholes along the lefthand wall (casting blue shadows of daylight on the righthand wall; the yellow lighting is artificial).
