English: Our final stop for that day was the Yanar Dagh or fire mountain, where a bit of the mountainside has been permanently aflame for several centuries due to subterranean gas reserves. That site is just across the road but here, part of the parking lot also serves as a bus terminus for local buses coming here all the way from Baku. I had read several demeaning reports about buses being ancient Soviet era vehicles etc. but this one was not all the bad. I may be Soviet built, but it was fairly modern, complete with LED destination signs. A bus which had left just before this was Isuze- I even saw an India built Ashok Leyland among them! There was hardly any partonage though, most people had come with their own cars or pre-arranged taxis so this bus and a couple of taxis nearby were really vying for customers.
