Monte Carlo

When the tournament became non mandatory in 2009. 500 only applies if you do not miss a masters event. If you miss a masters then MC is counted as 1000 points go and look in the rule book. I'm not that stupid to have written it in the first place. You are fucking stupid you know that. He got 600 points at the time for finishing RU. However at the end of paris he lost points as his score was changed to 500 series points. Try hard

Again Tennis

Hey, good job on creating the articles. I fixed things to make it look like every other tennis article on wikipedia so please take a look and copy/paste it for the next tournaments. Thanks. Kante4 (talk) 12:27, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I copied/paste it from the original listing, did not change anything. Kante4 (talk) 12:10, 30 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with upload of File:4minute - Why.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:4minute - Why.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or provided a license tag. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, select the appropriate license tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you can't find a suitable license tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 00:05, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:4minute - HuH.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:4minute - HuH.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Can't you follow wikipedia rules. Pray and you put something in I reverted and no one should revert me until a consensus has been reached. Yet you keep reverting don't discuss and there is no consensus. You didn't moan on the AO page when the stupid round table crap was removed so stop digging in things are changing around here. Tennis tiebreaks

I notice you do most of the prose writing for the day-by-day events at the French Open. It's usually a pretty good job too. One thing though is that you are using obsolete tiebreak protocol that others have to keep correcting. In prose the tiebreak score is to be avoided unless it is especially noteworthy where you actually talk about that particular tiebreak in detail. WP:TENSCR. Simply leave it as 7–6 or 6–7. In tables the full tiebreak score is used and in the following format... 6-4, 7–6(8–6), 6-7(3–7), 6–2. Thanks and keep up the great work otherwise. A tag has been placed on List of Tabatha Takes Over episodes, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Re-merged with main page since "list of episodes" was 99% copyright violation. Main article is only a "stub" to begin with, so it's completely unnecessary to begin "splitting" the page.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Crakkerjakk (talk) 12:13, 24 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Tennis Guidelines

Hi. Per WikiProject Tennis, we shouldn't add scores to player articles, such as Agnieszka Radwańska. I also shortened things a bit to keep the article concise. Thanks. -- James26 (talk) 19:02, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. Check out Wikipedia:WikiProject Tennis/Article guidelines and click on the Scores section. You can see an example of this in the Roger Federer article (rated GA), which tends to avoid mentioning scores. -- James26 (talk) 01:57, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, didn't mean to ignore your edits. As I mentioned, I'm trying to make the article concise, including the 2012 section. Also, some of your edits have issues with grammar, punctuation, or run-ons, so I'm cleaning up.
Example: "At the Indian Wells After advancing to the quarterfinals after Jamie Hampton retired when Radwanska was leading 3-0 in the third, she once again lost to Azarenka, however she was able reach a new career-high ranking of world no. 4."
The article doesn't need too many details. If you look at the Federer article, I think that stands as a good example of making things brief. However, if you really, really want to include things like a retirement, and all of the extra words you added, let's try writing some examples here and find a middle ground. -- James26 (talk) 02:41, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. I actually agree with some of the changes you made. I simply built on the latest one, and added some punctuation and a missing "the". -- James26 (talk) 02:59, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Listen, I'm not trying to edit war, but much of the details you keep adding to the article are unsourced and unnecessary IMO. Some of them are also inproper according to WP:Tone ("Agnieszka" istead of "Radwanska") and suggest personal affection. We only need brief summaries of the notable moments of her career, as seen in articles like Federer, and that's what the current version has. This makes it more inviting for a reader. I'm not trying to be vain at all, and I respect your history as an editor. -- James26 (talk) 15:44, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to request that you stop now before editing again, because you keep adding a bunch of grammatical errors all over the page (one example: "biggest win when in comes to rankings") and comma splices -- all of which are hurting the article, and this qualifies as disruptive editing.
I'm also going to request that you make the spin-off articles you mentioned, because some of your additions are unverified (the ITF and the qualifying matches for example), which means that the burden of evidence is yours.
Wikipedia is not a diary. What you keep including is overly long and unnecessary.
We don't need all of the "heroic" stuff. We don't need to know that she won a bunch of qualifying matches to get into a tournament. We don't need to know that she got far in a bunch of small tournaments before losing, or that she lost a bunch of first-, second-, or third-round matches.
The article should mostly focus on the notable stuff -- meaning titles, upsets, and strong runs at the bigger tournaments (Premiere events and slams). We both want what's best for the article, so please consider just moving your additions to a spin-off page. I'll gladly help. -- James26 (talk) 19:47, 1 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This isn't about the Federer article. Have you noted the more important things I've mentioned? Some of your claims are unverified, making them inappropriate in an article about a living person. We do not need to include all the detail that you keep including; the notable moments of her career are included in my version -- with sources.
I'm planning to take this to admins and let them resolve it if this continues. Please stop changing the article; try creating spin-offs for your edits. And please, in the interests of civility, leave comments such as "stupid" and "crap" out of this. -- James26 (talk) 00:34, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
