==Anon talk page semi-protection==
Hi! I'm marking semi-protected anon talk pages (in order to categorize said pages), and have noticed that in March 2007 you made a substantial number of semi-protected editing/full move protected... er, protections. I was curious if there was a reason for that; if not, never mind (although, in that case, perhaps some of those may need full unprotection). Thanks! Welcome to Can't sleep, clown will eat me's talk page

on Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit

Oldest people

Bart, can you ask a sysop to protect oldest people from editing by unregistered users? The amount of silly vandalism is heavy and a waste of time for everyone.→ R Young {yakłtalk} 18:07, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I will do so immediately then. Extremely sexy 21:39, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Help request

This is specifically directed towards User:Can't_sleep,_clown_will_eat_me. If someone could copy this to his talk page, I would be very thankful. The IP I am currently on has been blocked for excessive vandalism (no surprise really, being a high school). The IP address is 210.11.188.19. I was wondering if you could unblock in order to restore the ability for logged-in users to be able to edit pages. I tend to have free time at school, and I enjoy reverting vandalism (yes, I know: I am sad). Thanks. (unsigned comment)

Not much to be done, I'm afraid - see Wikipedia:Abuse reports/Melbourne High School specifically at the bottom of the page "Received response this afternoon from Paul Wright, the Internet and Intranet Coordinator, explicitly requesting that the addresses be blocked permanently from editing Wikipedia." --pgk 23:03, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think the wierdest thing is I don't go to Melbourne High. I go to a different school about 5 suburbs away. Same ISP perhaps. I thought it was a different case, because I am not a vandal (I hope not anyway, lol), and i actually contribute constructively.
I copied this from my user talk as I am now at home, and I couldn't edit anything else while I was at school. Thanks. Gab.popp 02:11, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Can't sleep, the article Buck the World was not tagged for AFD during Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Get Bucked, and the editor(s) of that article didn't seem to know about the AFD. So I've re-nominated Buck the World individually. You'll probably want to chime in at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Buck the World (3rd nomination). Cheers. Quarl (talk) 2007-02-11 07:58Z

You recently deleted Onteora Central School District, which at that time was an attack page with no reference value. Could you please check the history of that page to see whether there was a previous version worth salvaging and restore that previous version? http://onteora.schoolwires.com/ It is a school district in Boiceville, New York. --Eastmain 21:49, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There was no content worth salvaging, I checked prior to deletion. Thanks, Can't sleep, clown will eat me 21:50, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Can't sleep, clown will eat me, I've awarded you The Tireless Contributor Barnstar on your user page for your incredible amount of deletions, blocks and protects on Wikipedia. Congratulations! You can put it wherver you would like.--Wikipedier (talk contribs) 05:28, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Although I can't find it on your user page, but this has happened before when I awarded someone a barnstar in the past, and it was figured out.--Wikipedier (talk contribs) 05:38, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In need of unbiased person

As you are an admin and uninvoled with the merge proposal here, I was wondering if you could take a look at it since it has been over a month since the proposal was made. Thank you.Aboutmovies 07:23, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Full protect request

Any chance you can do a temporary full block of the Carlos Mencia page? There's a new video on Youtube (which to my understanding those videos can't be used as references because of copyright issues) and linked to Youtube from another comedian's site (but the video is technicall still on youtube) which is going to cause an inevitable edit war over the next few days. Plus his IMDB bio was vandalized and trolls are going to continue to use the false bio as a reference until IMDB fixes it. So please set the page up on full protect if possible. The page is edited nonstop normally, now its going to be worse. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by KimboSlice (talk • contribs) 20:51, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Now that you have deleted my article on Phil Barker, where is there a copy of the text? 210.177.131.4 01:25, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is now hidden, nothing on a wiki is truly deletable. However, only an admin can retrieve it for you if you wish for a copy of the text. — MichaelLinnear 01:28, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tim Hardaway monitoring

I'm headed to bed. I'd appreciate if you would keep track of the article if you are still up. I'd rather not semi-protect since most of the anon edits are productive. JoshuaZ 07:33, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Hardaway family pages have been added to my watchlist(s), but I'm afraid I'll be turning in soon as well. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 07:41, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Witness Lee

In regards to the below article:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Witness_Lee

I suggest a layer of protection from unregistered users. I thought the purpose of Wikipedia was to provide an informative, encyclopaedic entry about a subject. However, some Christian fundamentalist apologists see this as a way to conduct religious war instead. Notably, the continued attempted addition of:

On January 8, 2007, more than 60 evangelical scholars and ministry leaders from seven nations issued an unprecedented public appeal to the leadership of Living Stream and the "local churches" (available here), asking them to disavow and withdraw controversial statements made by Witness Lee on the doctrine of God and the doctrine of man. is way off-base.

Reasons:

1. No news citation or other source. 2. Use of biased words such as 'unprecedented' 3. Witness Lee died in 1997 and has nothing to do with the current lawsuit 4. Any religious position can be seen as 'controversial' by those that don't believe it 5. Stacking the deck bias...most of the '60' are NOT NOTABLE and in fact this appears to be a coordinated effort, akin to politics. We could easily get a petition of '60 concerned scholars' who oppose the war in Iraq. Such a petition is not newsworthy unless covered by a major news source, which in that case would at the very least allow for an editing. Prior attempts to compromise by editing out words such as 'unprecedented' have been met with reverts and no compromise attempted. 6. Bad intent The purpose/goal seems to be to pressure the local churches/LSM to modify their personal beliefs to accord with said outside pressure. This is akin to the Inquisition, Salem Witchcraft Trials, or the burning at the stake of Christian protestants in the 1500's. The Catholic church was free to excommunicate Martin Luther, but to go further by burning people at the stake for being a member of a different faith is in fact one of the worst attacks on freedom in all of humanity. It seems that the battle for the mind is only challenged by the battle for earthly resources as to which is worse.

Thus, it appears that the Witness Lee article is under bad-faith attack from those who put their own personal biases ahead of the principles of being a Wikipedian...not surprising considering the edits are being done ANONYMOUSLY BY UNREGISTERED USERS. Similar controversies exist around the Local churches and Living Stream Ministry articles...controversies that have LESS to do with the local church/LSM than they do to those who prefer to preach "You're going to hell unless you're a member of our congregation." I don't see local church members telling fundamentalist Baptists what their beliefs are. To try to state what another group believes through the lens of apologism is simply unacceptable.→ R Young {yakłtalk} 08:34, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding transparent proxy

08:53, 23 December 2006 Can't sleep, clown will eat me (Talk | contribs) blocked "218.186.8.11 (contribs)" with an expiry time of 9 fortnights (anon block)

At least give the majority of the 300000 legitimate people on that shared IP address the chance to create an account and log in to edit. With your anon block non account holders can't edit at all until the ban ends, even though the ban that was put on this shared IP address was no fault of theirs. I seriously ask you to consider your lengthy block of not allowing all non account holders the chance to edit the articles on Wikipedia just because they can't create an account. ConcernedWikiUser 04:32, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If anyone behind this transparent proxy needs assistance we would be more than glad to help them. Thank you, ConcernedWikiUser, for contacting me. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 04:35, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

UPN sockpuppets

Hi, I'm not sure how this kind of stuff is supposed to go, but I have discovered a sock puppet of User:The UPN Vandal. He has made a lot of vandalism edits to The Simpsons Movie page and proof that this use is a sock puppet of the UPN Vandal can be found here) and created a dozen false soundtrack pages. The administrator who normally deals with that guy isn't on right now, and it would be nice to stop him before he creates another page. I'm conflicted on this one. I would be inclined to allow this, if it weren't for the 200+ odd trolls and impostors [1] [2] coupled with the fact that this one immediately popped up to !vote on in an ongoing AFD [3] as their second edit. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 01:20, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Something a bit weird

It's not a problem as such, but on the main page, I'm not shown as being logged in, but once I go somewhere else, I am. [4] [5]

Train wrecks

Hello. You closed Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kim Hunt with the comment "Enough with the mass nominations. The next trainwreck I see like this will be speedily kept." I just thought I'd make you aware of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/John Carpenter (game show contestant) and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Paul J. Alessi, both of which were created by the same user. --Maxamegalon2000 04:22, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize. They were not created by the same user. --Maxamegalon2000 04:27, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Either way, mass noms only serve to make obtaining community consensus more difficult and are ill advised. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 04:39, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the support and the closings. I think some mass noms are OK, like Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lists of programs broadcast by networks, but only when the articles are essentially exactly the same in terms of notability. That clearly wasn't the case with these. --Maxamegalon2000 04:45, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cretan Turks

Regarding this protection, I think it's pointless. For some weeks now we've been discussing how the article is becoming a pov-fork of Cretan Muslims, but the editors who support the pov-fork version refuse to participate in discussion. They did not participate in Talk when the article was unprotected, so there's not a chance that they will do now. What happens when an editor (or group of editors) engage in edit-warring but refuse to discuss? Miskin 01:57, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please, google "Cretan Turks" -wikipedia and "Cretan Muslims" -wikipedia, the first gives nearly twice as much results. These people, the emigrants from Crete identify themselves as Cretan Turks. What some Greek Wikipedians are doing here unfortunately is denying Cretan Turks their identity. If you do a little search concerning Western Thracian Turks, you'll see the Greek state engages in same kind of action there as well. I'll contact certain Wikipedians and try to get them to improve the article with more sources and better writing. Regards--Doktor Gonzo 07:08, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The appropriate place to discuss this is the article talk page.  ;-) Can't sleep, clown will eat me 07:11, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gonzo, if we assume that what you say is true, then you should have been supporting a rename of Cretan Muslims to Cretan Turks, and not the creation of a separate article (see WP:POVFORK). Miskin 11:12, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I need help

Someone (from his talk page repeatedly warned for senseless removals) has removed an important section from the Forensic entomology page. A lot of students use this page as an index to the insect families of forensic importance, so this has been very harmful. Note also his odd "Oh no" and "Oh no cAMERON FUHRMAN" on successive pages. I fixed his reverting this page to your revision as of 12:35, 16 January 2007, but the culprit gives me the impression he is trying to help excepting his comment "Oh no cAMERON FUHRMAN". This is difficult, but can he be stopped? Many thanks. Robert (Nash) as Notafly.

I would like to recommend the ip: 75.33.120.102 be banned, for excessive and repeated vandalism. If this is not the correct place to place this request, please advise me on where is. Jmac 21:45, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Why was my IP blocked?

I was trying to edit a page as anon, and I was told I was blocked by you for vandalism. My IP address is 71.107.14.12. Looking at the contributions from that IP, I only edited the sandbox twice and reverted a vandal edit once. What happened? AppleNick Talk 21:39, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Improper Administrative Actions

There is an admin named Khoikhoi that disagrees with the discussion page majority on whether or not a particular article should be moved.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Reggaeton

A contributor asked for facts which support why the page should not be moved, and those facts were provided. Rather than allow users to see these new facts, KhoiKhoi has decided to simply delete them with no explanation and has blocked the talk page in an attempt to prevent others from restoring them. Its irrelevant as to whether or not its a contributor with a screen name or an anonymous IP, the fact is that evidence was provided, and it was immediately deleted. I'm not sure where to report Adminstrators for actions unbecoming of Wikipedia's TOS, so I was hoping maybe you would have some insight, thanks. 68.155.86.174 02:50, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

DNC imam controversy -> Husham Al-Husainy

Hey, you just deleted the article at Husham Al-Husainy, which I had moved from the DNC imam controversy to a page about the imam involved. I moved the old article rather than create a new one so that the edit history of DNC imam controversy would remain in tact, but the new article had a very different focus, as it was a biography, not an event. I made the move and rewrote the article on February 22, and I was hoping to give people time to look over the new article. Umm, so I guess I'm just asking if you might resurrect the article, at the very least to give it a proper afd at the new name. If I've got the wrong idea about the process, let me know. Thanks, Smmurphy(Talk) 06:15, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Advice requested

Hi Can't sleep. I've been attempting to overview and tidy up the geography cats which involve the places where people live. There appear to be two useful ways of doing it - by region, and by size. Organising by size is difficult because User:Hmains uses the term settlements to cover all sizes of communities, and has altered dictionary definitions [6] to fit his own understanding of the term - [7]. However, community appears to be the term used most often to describe the places where people live, regardless of size. This is the definition of community - [8]. Hmains has reverted much of my work, and insists on settlements being the term we should use - basing it on this decision, which was a declined proposal to rename Settlements by region to Populated places by region. What do you think? Is settlement the appropriate term for covering human communities ranging from well established cities down to refuge camps? Is Human community a viable alternative? Are there other choices? I have started a discussion here and here, with the above wording, but no response as yet. I have left this message on the talk pages of active Geography Project members. And then on this page. I am a bit lost as the best place to discuss this issue. I don't want to delete or rename any category. And I don't want to get into a revert war. I'd like an open debate to reach sensible consensus. I'm now leaving this message on the pages of WikiProject Category members. Can you advise? SilkTork 20:01, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This has nothing to do with anything, really, I was just wondering. Why is it that a standard block period is 31 hours (a day and 7 hours) in length? Review unblock

Hi, could you please review this block [10] if you don't mind as an independent observer not involved in the conflict. I have some serious objections against this block

1, it was not explained
2, user was not warned
3, lack of evidence, nothing justificative for block (not personal attack link in history provided)
4, two other administrators contradicts each other in block reason
5, block is for 2 weeks
6, one administrator mentions edit warring but without evidence
7, Rex Germanus provided a troublesome evidence on his defend, check this [11] (blocker + reviewer are talking about that they will block him, which disqualify that admin from review automatically)
Although administrators block a lot of users, anons etc. they are in most cases obvious vandals. But this case seems to be completely different, because it is the user editing wikipedia and is not a vandal. His block is a little bit troublesome. ≈Tulkolahten≈≈talk≈ 19:57, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
IMO, he was blocked with good reason. Besides his personal attacks against me and other users, he mass-moved a series of articles against consensus simply to make a point. Antman -- chat 23:15, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request for help

Hey there, I know you do a lot of edits and I've contributed a couple of times to the same articles you have. I'm not especially Wiki-literate and would appreciate some help with the Michael Bloomberg article.

There have in the past been allegations that this page was POV. A lot of editing goes on by first time users, usually to remove things that are negative from the article. I'm not saying that means anything, but just so that you're aware there could be a problem.

In keeping with the pages of other politicians, and to help calm allegations that it was POV, I added a section about Bloomberg's controversies (My thinking was that every politician, regardless of party, has to have some). I sourced it to the web pages of several (I think two or three) newspapers. That was edited to “Harassment Controversies” by another user. It has now been deleted by a first time user who has no other edits. What is the most wiki-friendly way to respond, please? Coricus 06:33, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And I've never posted anything other than this! So, please. I don't know what everyone's deal is, but can you please unblock me? It's kind of annoying to see the message saying my IP address is blocked yet again. So, please, I'm asking for you to stop it already. I had to create an account just to stop this blocking thing. WP:UW future?

Hi, Sorry for the blatant spam, but you have yourself down as interested at WikiProject user warnings WP:UW. There is a discussion on going here that might be of interest to you about the future of this project. There are two strawpolls on the talk pages and the second one is about the future of the WP:UW project. Now we have the end in sight we are looking at wrapping up the project and merging it with Template messages/User talk namespace WP:UTM and creating a one stop shop for all userspace template issue. As you have yourself down as interested in this project we thought you may have some input on this issue, and would like you to visit the discussion and give any thoughts you may have on the matter. You reverted an edit by User:Jdubman to Mission San Jose High School (dif), which clearly had to be done becasue of how the logo gif was enlarged and distorted. However, he seems to be doing a series of edits to make the image tag compliant with the Template:Infobox School design. See Category talk:Articles with incorrect school infobox format. It may be that the infobox design is a problem or that the tag needs to be different for jpgs and gifs--I'm not really able to tell what should be done, but it seems like somebody needs to advise them. --Hjal 05:43, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have discussed the issue of changing another user's signed comments with User:Bart Versieck at User talk:Bart Versieck, however he insists on correcting my edits here on your talk page. This is disruptive and is also a violation of the talk page guidelines. After reviewing his talk page, it is apparent that he has a history of doing this and has been warned repeatedly. I'm unable to convince him that he should not do this. Also, I slightly revised my wording above to clarify my original comment. Matt Sanchez controversy

There is a tempest in a teapot brewing here. Note the issues:

1. Matt Sanchez is in violation of Wiki: Auto (editing his own autobiography)

2. Matt Sanchez continues to use hate speech, such as 'gay jihadists' and 'these fags' (see below)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Matt_Sanchez

Wjhonson is another gay Jihadist. I have PUBLICLY stated that I am NOT a Homosexual REPEATEDLY and yet these fags have never put that into my article, however they have put the "gay hustler" label on me, although I have clearly stated that

1. Porn is prostitution 2. The films were directed toward men 3. there are similarities between myself and Rich Merritt AND Jeff Gannon. 4 I have only edited when these people have slandered me for their own pathetic agenda. 5. Who are these faceless cowards? I have put my name and e-mail on everything and they call me dishonest. Geez Bluemarine 23:15, 26 March 2007 (UTC)Matt Sanchez

3. Matt Sanchez is also using his article as 'advertising' and pushing an agenda, and has also recruited persons favorable to his agenda-pushing to help. For example, he adds 'original research' below

[edit] Other activities Sanchez was a consultant for TIVO, Digital Cities, and helped to create an early model for web-ads called Clickables, which he sold for an undisclosed amount. He also created and optioned the Movie Minute[1]

A Marine Corps Times article disclosed that his Military Occupational Specialty is 1161 that of a refrigeration mechanic. Mr. Sanchez recently became a partner in a public relations and marketing firm, but he refuses to name the firm citing political hate mail from internet attackers.

And then his own Fox-news-spin version of things:

[edit] Controversy Sanchez angered homosexual activists, whom he referred to as gay jihadist and gay fundamentalist when he stated that he was not gay.[2] Gay activists have since criticized Sanchez for being anti-gay or refusing to speak out in support of homosexual causes. Sanchez has vigorously stated that he has no interest in homosexual causes whatsoever, which has caused a backlash from homosexual bloggers.

Critics have noted that Sanchez is in the middle of the culture wars by having been in the adult film industry and being a conservative. Hypocrisy is what critics have shouted, despite Sanchez' strong criticism of the adult pornographic industry and his former participation in that industry. Many prominent conservatives, David Horowitz, Kevin McCullough, Michelle Malkin and Ann Coulter have come forward to support Cpl. Matt Sanchez, while many liberals and particularly homosexual activists have criticized him for hypocrisy--a criticism he stringently denies.

The irony is, of course, that I am a Republican. I initially started out trying to defend Mr. Sanchez. However, it was not long before I realized that he is a compulsive liar, and has changed his story many times. He is now claiming NOT to have been a male escort, despite saying he was on video; having his IP address, phone number, and other items (i.e. magazine ads) linked to him; having said "I'm not denying it" on Salon.com, and having admitted it earlier.

What a joke. It seems, in fact, Mr. Sanchez only backtracked when the military launched a 'don't ask, don't tell' investigation. Clearly, Mr. Sanchez enjoys stirring the controversy but now it seems out of control. I was surprised to see how little regard Mr. Sanchez has for Wikipedia, saying things like 'let's just delete the article,' vandalizing LGBT pages, and claiming that 'LGBT people should be barred from editing.' HELLO? Is this America? What happened to the 'free speech' he was so busy touting on campus not too long ago?

Why am I telling you? Because we need some no-nonsense person who has the guts to stand up to a master manipulator, that's why. → R Young {yakłtalk} 05:14, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any penalty for putting pictures of non-foodstuffs (such as missile launchers) in the "Feed the Clown" section? Sgt. Bond 18:54, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes indeed: severe punishment resulting in a horrendous death, so I wouldn't do it if I were you. Extremely sexy 13:12, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That all depends. How would you define "penalty"? Can't sleep, clown will eat me 06:25, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Temple City

I would like to request a semi-protect to the Temple City, California article. It gets much vandalism, all from anonymous users... and the people who do contribute (which is basically only me and a few registered users who make minor edits) all have acounts. If it were semi-protected though, it wouldn't recieve vandalism, and it would still recieve the same amount of contributions, so please semi-protect it. Thank you! — Ian Lee (Talk - Contribs - Sign - Gimme!) 05:07, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Username comment

Hi, you blocked one of mt reports to AIV about a user and I wrote something similar to Sock of blocked user by Cant sleep clow... you know the rest lol and I noticed it was you who blocked him and I'd just like to say I hope you didnt take offence to it. Cheers!! - Tellyaddict 10:51, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

None taken, those tend to pop up rather frequently. ;-) Can't sleep, clown will eat me 16:24, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your block of 156.1.60.60

Hi. In October last year you blocked 156.1.60.60 for "8.625 fortnights" for vandalism. Apparently MediaWiki doesn't take too kindly to non-integer stuff like that, and turned it into a ban of almost a year. So I've removed the ban, seeing as 8.625 fortnights have well and truly come and gone. - Mark 05:44, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request for unprotection of Tellapadu

Hi there! I created an article on Tellapadu on the 10th of Jan. '07. There was a problem with the content (insufficient information), following which the page was deleted and subsequently, restored. However, I unknowingly tried removing some tags which were placed, as a part of my efforts to revise the article i.e to weed out any unwanted information/parts and add more facts. Due to this, there occured some misunderstanding, for which, I agree, I'm solely to be blamed and the article Tellapadu was redirected to Doddavaram. Doddavaram is a neighbouring village and bears very little relationship, if any to Tellapadu. So I request Tellapadu to be restored to its former status (unprotected and the redirection undone), upon which I assure that all necessary changes and additions would be made by me, in full conformity to Wikipedia's standards, including several new facts, which have come to light as a result of my research on the subject in question. If you are still unsatisfied you may proceed in the course, as you deem necessary, as an administrator. Thanking You. Altruism 07:08, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

CSCWEM, I have unprotected and reverted the redirect for a period of 1 week, which should be enough time to determine whether a good faith attempt at sourcing and expanding the article happens. - Ta bu shi da yu 08:49, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds good to me, thank you for taking care of this. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 18:33, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is a thread on the unblock list concerning a ban that you placed on the IP address related to this high school. Could you, please, have a look at the thread and advise further? Capitalistroadster 18:23, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Found it. It appears we're now being trolled on the mailing list as well, so hopefully the 31 hour block is sufficient. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 18:39, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you gave a short block to User:12.207.66.8 on April 4. Since the block expired, all of his edits have been vandalism, despite warnings from myself, as well as from User:MartinBot, User:Natalie_Erin and User:ESkog. Since you were the one who had previously blocked this user, I thought it would be appropriate to ask that you consider re-instituting the block on this user. Thanks for your consideration. --Tim4christ17 talk 18:59, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can you, please, include in the article that the Badgers women hockey team are back to back champs, and the men won in 2006, because my edits got taken out? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Intermisun7 (talk • contribs) 01:06, 12 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

You semi-protected Scooby-Doo, but maybe you weren't aware that it's the article on the Main Page. Was there discussion about protecting it? Leebo T/C 18:51, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Leebo put the request in on RFPP and I picked up on it. Unprotected per WP:NOPRO (yah, I know, not policy :) ) but left move prot on. Hope this is okay, revert if not. It's on my watchlist now, so I'll do what I can - Alison 20:07, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for handling the unprotection, Alison. I wasn't trying to go over your head or anything, CSCWEM, but I thought that maybe you had stumbled upon the article like I did without realizing it was today's featured (I was even going to request protection earlier in the day before I realized). Anon talk page semi-protection

Thanks! GracenotesT § 22:29, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
