You have broken the 1RR rule on Ramallah. (You had removed the word "Palestinian" 3 times from the lead today). Please self-revert, or you will be reported and might get blocked. (If you wonder what the 1RR is, please read "WARNING: ACTIVE ARBITRATION REMEDIES" on Talk:Ramallah) Huldra (talk) 22:42, 26 October 2015 (UTC)

Revision as of 22:42, 26 October 2015

I've created this user in order to be able to contribute to some pages of interest. I am mainly going to contribute to Middle East, Israel and Hebrew related or relevant pages. Following is the log of my contributions

1. June 16, 2015: changed capitalisation in Hebrew transliterations. Explanation: for some reason many writers chose to ignore the structure of the Hebrew language whereby the definite article as well as complementary locutions such as in, with, for are appended to the noun they determine and, therefore, use the incorrect capitalisation on the first letter when it should be placed on the first letter of the noun with the appended locution either completely lowercase (my choice) or capitalised itself. Currently a hugely disproportionate number of transliterated Hebrew words start with Ha.... just because 'ha' is the definite article ('the'); as an example 'Haaretz' comes to mind now when it shoud be 'haAretz'. Accordingly I have changed the capitalisation in two articles so far, the one on Jabotinsky and the one on Keren haYesod; With the last one, I have a problem in that I am unable to change the displayed title. Would appreciate help in this regard. Thanks, Adir Bar Yohanan (talk) 08:46, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
