Out of date/update tag added.
I added the update tag, as their have been ongoing developments as lightsquared goes through bankruptcy, still. Even though I removed the POV tag, I have decided to put it back, because there appears to be unresolved issues even though the neutrality issues are a couple of years old (ick!). As of August 2014, things are still undecided in bankruptcy court. The frequencies seem to be still up for grabs, and even though the FCC said no way hose', other companies are looking to do the same thing as lightsquared. See this link for the latest. Regardless, this article needs a pretty heavy rewrite. Perhaps after the bankruptcy is settled it would be a good time to delve into it. But it requires more time than I have atm - I leave it to other editors for now. Nodekeeper (talk) 08:08, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
- I've sadly had to adopt the same attitude myself. It does need a heavy rewrite to present the now history (formerly situation) in a more neutral and less LightSquared-friendly manner, though. siafu (talk) 11:11, 29 August 2014 (UTC)

Requested move 25 July 2016
LightSquared → Ligado Networks – LightSquared rebranded itself in 2016 and the company is now known as Ligado Networks. Looking at this from a WP:COMMONNAME perspective, Ligado Networks is the name used in media coverage since the company rebranded. The name change was reported on in The Wall Street Journal, FierceWireless and Wireless Week, among others. As the company is no longer known as LightSquared (recent coverage uses Ligado Networks in the first instance), I suggest moving this article from its former name to Ligado Networks, while keeping LightSquared as a redirect to Ligado Networks. I have a financial conflict of interest since I work with Beutler Ink on behalf of Ligado Networks via The Glover Park Group; as I abide by the "bright line", I won't edit live articles. I'd be grateful if someone could review this and move LightSquared to Ligado Networks if you agree that it's appropriate. Thanks! 16912 Rhiannon (Talk · COI) 22:03, 25 July 2016 (UTC)
