WeatherWriter (talk | contribs) Added source and removed PROD. As a Wikipedia editor, I think this passes the criteria now since 50% of the sources are national news. As a person who is writing a book about how Wikipedia is handling this cyberattack specifically, I sort of want it deleted. It would be a better book for me having information that Wikipedia editors don't consider notable...but did at one point. |

A ransomware cyberattack occurred on June 2, 2021, that affected Steamship Authority, the ferry service between the mainland of Massachusetts and the islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. [1][2][3]
