The Screaming Piha (Lipaugus vociferans) is a species of bird in the Cotingidae family. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is known as the Pwe-pwe Yoh by the Cofan people of Ecuador because of the males distinctive cry while during mating season. Males of the species like male hermit hummingbird engage in lekking behavior during mating season.
