In 2007, a week before the cricket world cup was to start, I was appointed as the PCB's 'Media Manager'.

It enabled me the opportunity to pose with the team for the official team photograph - I insisted I sat at the front with the captain!

Also, being 'embedded' with the team, it allowed me the opportunity to provide my REAL employers, ARY DIGITAL with some exclusive reporting from within the camp.

This world cup was all about the 'PJ Mir Project'. And I am delighted to say that it is on its way to becoming a huge success.

I a controversial and speak my mind - as can be seen in my 'hard-hitting' interviews with the stars.

As a result of my celebrity status - which I am unashamed to admit that I seek so badly, I have been placed under a 'Fatwah' - I had to flee Pakistan and go into hiding in the Middle East (although technically I havent been to akistan for 20 years).

I am currently working on a fans website www.PyjamaMan.com and this project shall be completed in the summer.

If you wish to contact me, receive a signed photograph, or wish me to make any public appearances (I do weddings and after-dinner speeches), contact me on: pj.mir@hotmail.co.uk

Mir hosts Q & A With PJ Mir from London, a popular (and controversial) current affairs talk-show on Ary One World. His cricket career included three One-day Internationals for Pakistan, two of those appearances at the 1975 World Cup, as well as 80 first class matches for various teams in Pakistan and England.

He is currently the Media Manager of Pakistan's cricket team at the 2007 Cricket World Cup.
