Meadow Oaks is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Pasco County, Florida, United States north of Florida State Road 52. Inland from Hudson,[5] it is within the Tampa–St. Petersburg–Clearwater Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA)[6]
The community was first planned in 1983 to include homes and eponymous golf course,[7] which was later expanded.[8][9] The clubhouse was destroyed by fire in 1995.[10] The community continued to grow into the 2000s,[11][12][13][14]
Meadow Oaks become a CDP in 2010[15] and as of the 2010 census its population was 2,442[2] It had grown to 2,842 by the 2020 census.[1]
Geography
Meadow Oaks is consider an 'inland' or 'landside' Pasco County community.[5][16] According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Meadow Oaks CDP has an area of 1.656 square miles (4.29 km2); 1.651 square miles (4.28 km2) of its area is land, and 0.005 square miles (0.013 km2) is water.[2] Land-use planning follows the concepts of PUD zoning.[17][18]
