Meadow Oaks is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Pasco County, Florida, United States north of Florida State Road 52. It is within the Tampa–St. Petersburg–Clearwater Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA)[5]

The community was first planned in 1983 to include homes and eponymous golf course.[6] The clubhouse was destroyed by fire in 1995.[7] It has continued to expand into the 2000s,[8][9][10] becoming a CDP in 2000.[11]

Its population was 2,442 as of the 2010 census,[2] and had grown to 2,842 by the 2020 census.[1]

Geography

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Meadow Oaks CDP has an area of 1.656 square miles (4.29 km2); 1.651 square miles (4.28 km2) of its area is land, and 0.005 square miles (0.013 km2) is water.[2] Land-use planning follows the concepts of PUD zoning.[12][13]

Newspaper articles about the golf course and country club within the CDP have used a Hudson, Florida byline.[14][15][16]
