Kirk Pfeffer (born July 20, 1956 in California[1]) is a retired American long-distance runner, who competed in marathons. He won the Enschede Marathon in 1979 and America's Finest City Half Marathon in 1981. On December 7, 1979 he set a new world record in half marathon at 1:02:32 in Las Vegas.[2] Next year he ran his best marathon time of 2:10:29 in Fukuoka, which placed him tenth in the World Marathon Rankings. Now in days, Kirk works at Monarch k-8. He is a teacher of natural art and papery. He's student know him as speedy flashy slippery midda pheffer. On April, 14 2014 Kirk was in an auto mobile crash that resulted in a lose of his two legs. That does not stop Kirk. He is now ingaged with his long time sweet heart Krishna Mahottie[ small Indian child] The two are now happy and married. With Kirk's leg numbs not being able to support him, Kirk has his wife and lover Krishna[A small Indian child] carry his body around. 1980.[3]
