Julie Ferrier at the Festival of Fantastic Arts 2009

Julie Ferrier is a French actress and comedian, born 17 January 1971 in Courbevoie.

Early Life

Julie is in the eighth generation of actresses on the maternal side of her family. She was raised in Seine-Saint-Denis. In 1988 she entered the Conservatoire Municipal de Paris, then attended the École du cirque Fratellini. She was first interested in dance, in which field she worked professionally for ten years, for choreographers such as Philippe Decouflé—she danced at the opening ceremony of the Albertville Olympics in 1992—and was a colleague of Kamel Ouali.

From 1996 to 1998 she took classes at the Jacques Lecoq International Theatre School, directed by Alain Mollot.
