Issaquah High School, is also known as Issaquah Senior High School or IHS. It is a public secondary school located in Issaquah, Washington, USA operating under the Issaquah School District.
History
Founded in 1905, IHS was the first high school in Issaquah, WA. Previously located near the Issaquah Middle School campus, most of the current academic buildings were completed in 1962. Growth of enrollment at IHS has coincided with the growth of the Issaquah community. The Issaquah School District completed the construction of the Pacific Cascade Freshman Campus in 2005, making it the new home to IHS and nearby Skyline High School's 9th graders. IHS currently enrolls 10th-12th graders. However, the Pacific Cascade Freshman Campus will be converted into a middle school. IHS will undergo an extensive re-modeling at the end of the 2007-08 school year to accommodate the reinstatement of 9th graders at IHS.[2]
