Template:Hangon The Genki Rockets are a hybrid band made up of a few different unnamed musical artists. The face of the group is a fictional character named Lumi, who is from space, 30 years in the future. Lumi is 17, was born in space, and has never been to Earth. At "live" performances, Lumi is created by holograms.

The group has so far only released two music videos. The first, Heavenly Star, was created for the Playstation Portable game Lumines II. An MP3 of the song began selling on iTunes in December, 2006 [1] and eventually was accompanied by five different remixes of the song (Countdown remix, Glorious remix, Love remix, Space walk remix, Sunrise remix). Heavenly Star was the first music video produced by Tetsuya Mizuguchi of Q Entertainment. In September of 2007, the Genki Rockets released their second song and video, Breeze.
