Fereydunshahr (Persian: فریدون‌شهر, Georgian: ფერეიდანი "Phereidan")[3] is a city and capital of Fereydunshahr County, about 150 kilometres west of the city of Isfahan in the western part of Isfahan Province, Iran.[4] At the 2011 census, its population was 14,007, in 4,062 families.[5]With an elevation of about 2500 meters above the sea level, Fereydunshahr is the highest town in Iran.[2]
