As an abstract photographer, she is known for her use of homemade lenses and distinctive palettes, creating photographic works that blur the boundaries of form and matter, revealing light, reflection and energy not usually perceived.
Her artwork is in the permanent collections of the International Center of Photography and NYU Langone Health.
She attended Webster University in St. Louis, London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), and Harvard University. She was later a long-time member of Theatre X in Milwaukee.
