It was originally founded by Florin Cornianu and Tudor Bastea under the name 123ContactForm, with the company rebranding to its current name in late 2017.[1][2]
123FormBuilder app features a user-friendly drag-and-drop interface that enables the creation of customized online forms without the need for advanced coding expertise.[3][4]
History
123FormBuilder, established in 2008 in Timișoara, Romania, is a web-based software service. Timișoara is recognized as one of the leading tech hubs in Central and Eastern Europe. The service began as a side project called 123ContactForm SRL, initiated by Florin Cornianu and Tudor Bastea.[5]
In 2012, 123ContactForm introduced its form-building application for Wix Website Builder,[6] followed by a launch on Weebly in 2016.[7]
In 2015, the company received an investment of 1 million euros from Catalyst Romania, a private equity growth and venture capital fund. [8]
In 2017, 123FormBuilder became available on the Salesforce AppExchange platform.[9]
In December 2020, venture capital firm 212 acquired a shareholders' position in the Company, securing a seat on the board.[10]
Since its foundation, 123FormBuilder has experienced a year-on-year growth rate of 100% and served over 200,000 users by 2014.[11] In 2015, the number of users grew to 500,000 worldwide.[12]
In 2022, 123FormBuilder ranked as a Leader in G2’s Form Builder, Survey, and Lead Capture categories for all business sizes.[13]
In January 2024, 123FormBuilder was ranked first by Capterra in the category of Free Survey Tools.[14]
Software
