The Tricolour Burmese: သုံးရောင်ခြယ် (lit. 'three colour painted') originally refers to the flag of Dobama Asiayone (which had two variants).[1] The current flag of Myanmar (since 2010) uses the tricolour background to indicates the magnificence of these flags.[2]
