Allylglycine is a glycine derivative. It is an inhibitor of glutamate decarboxylase[1]re and an antagonist of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA).[2]
It inhibits the synthesis of GABA.[3]
It is used to induce convulsions in experimental animals.
