On 13 April 2024 heavy rains caused a ravine to collapse into a river in Dibaya-Lubwe, Kwilu Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo, leaving at least 12 dead, 7 injured and 50-60 missing.[1]
Event
On 13 April 2024, people were down by the river cleaning their clothes when heavy rains caused a large part of a ravine to collapse into the river below them where a boat was also docking and buried many people.
