Bahrain competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. The country sent ten representatives: six in athletics, two in swimming, one in shooting and one in sailing.[1]
This marked the first time women had represented Bahrain at the Olympics[2] - although two women had previously competed for Bahrain at the Paralympic Games in 1984.[3]
