Anand Bose

Anand Bose hails from Kurianoor village, a tiny green hamlet in the State of Kerala in India. There's a joking legend about him is that when he was being baptized, he pissed on to the cassock of the priest.

Philosophically, Anand Bose considers himself to be an existential nihilist, a Hellenic hedonist and a post-structural deconstructionist.

Anand Bose has published poetry, fiction and articles on contemporary literature and philosophy.

Fiction

Talmud Junkie (A Novel)

Talmud Junkie is a collection of philosophical epiphanies in the aesthetics of writing the novel in art. It reflects a middle ground of the bildunssroman and the kusntlerroman. The writing is ironical, meta-fictional, experimental and postmodern. The novel wants to be like music,a finished composition, an art as an abstract painting.

Grotto of a Gargoyle (Collection of Short Stories) The writing is humorously ironical with quest to imitate and tease practitioners of magic realism through pastiche and the burlesque. There's an ecumenism of continents, cultures and times.

Musical Beatitudes (An Anthology of Poetry) It's a collection of poetry. Intimacy and erotica have been sublimated into a lyric. I have also expressed myself in Eliotian language of rnimagistic poetry. There are also adaptations to the Haiku.

Meanderings of a Muse (Non Fiction) This is a collection of Essays on Philosophy, Literature and Aesthetics. The language is theoretically subversive and forges new paradigms in intellectual history.

Rosaries of Garbage (Non Fiction) It's a collection of Essays with the narration in a post modern sense of being genre. The author has ruminated on various subjects like language, literature, philosophy, aesthetics, art and psychoanalysis. The writing has been a humble effort to bring into praxis what the author has read. The author is a disgruntled Hellenist who wants to triumph his individuality through writing.
