Lara George is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter and producer.[1]
Early life
She was born in Lagos State southwestern Nigeria into the family of Oluwole Bajomo.[2] She attended Queen's College, Lagos before she proceeded to the University of Lagos where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Architecture.[3]
Career
She began her music career at the University of Lagos where she joined the campus fellowship choir.[4] He debut Album titled Forever In My heart with Hit Single titled Ijoba Orun was released in 2008.[5] The album earned her several awards and nomination.[6] In 2008, she won the Voice of the Year and the Nigeria Music Award. In 2009, she emerged as the Female Artiste of the year, the same year she won the Nigeria Gospel Music Award.[7] In 2011, she was nominated for the African Gospel Music Award.[8]
Personal life
She is married to Gbenga George, a legal practitioner and a music entrepreneur.[9]
