For making the page for Merve Emre.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merve_Emre

I really enjoyed reading her book The Personality Brokers, so I attempted to make a page "Merve Emre" but was not successful.

I really was planning to make a page about the book, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Mechachleopteryx (talk) 11:01, 7 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Mechachleopteryx. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Discovery Query Language".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 00:21, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Last Shelter: Survival moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Last Shelter: Survival, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Notice

The article Automated coverage feedback has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Searches did not turn up any in-depth coverage for this term. Fails WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. No issue with this.. It would take some time to see how to improve it, perhaps it is overly specific. Mechachleopteryx (talk) 22:05, 6 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Has the language gone away?[edit]

It's a real language and is notable, due to its use of SHA hashes to represent programming concepts, making it easier to rename functions after creation or to translate to another language.

All other programming languages should take some hints from it, even if it is currently mostly academic or experimental, although I think it is being used for real projects.

I am not an expert on it yet and the only reason it is not being edited is because it was moved out of the main namespace, and I struggle with figuring out how to write about it without doing original research, even if I support it with lots of references.

Why should I have to create the whole article myself? Just move it back into the main namespace and other people who are familiar with the language can help.
