Description
English: The fourth of the four Yuan and Ming Dynasty monuments on the Tyr cliff (Khabarovsk Krai), seen ca. 1854-1860 by G.M.Permikin, and described by E.G.Ravenstein (based on the Russians' accounts) in his book as follows: "And lastly, about three hundred and fifty yards from the third of these monuments, stands upon a narrow promontory an octagon column, larger than the others. On the plateau, a short distance behind the monuments, are to be seen the remains of ancient walls, nine to ten feet high..."
