Summary

Description
English: No. 5 of 5. The jet is particularly likely to be bent towards the surface, and then cling to it, if a step (of the right height) is introduced just below the jet at the beginning of the surface. A low pressure vortex develops behind the step accentuating the initial difference in pressure on either side of the jet.
