| Description |
The 1950-69 Morgan Plus 4 is a larger and more powerful version of the Morgan Motor Company's 4/4 model. The 4/4 had the 1267cc Standard engine whereas the Plus 4 was fitted with a 2088 cc engine based on that used in the Standard Vanguard fitted in a strengthened and longer chassis. This car was the 6th car built and the 1st to be sold in Australia. The Series I was replaced in 1953 by the Series II, a new sloped back and rounded nose also more performance from the 1991 cc engine as used in the Triumph TR3. |
