FinDreams Battery Co., Ltd. was registered on 5 May 2019 as a successor to BYD Lithium Battery Co. Ltd., which was established in 1998. In early 2022, the company started construction of a [[joint venture]] plant with [[FAW Group]] called FAW-FinDreams to produce battery packs. In February 2024, the company signed an 8-year agreement with American automotive supply company, [[BorgWarner]]. FinDreams Battery will supply BorgWarner with blade cells for manufacturing LFP battery packs in Europe, the Americas and several Asia Pacific regions.
