Fawzi AbdulRahim Ahmad al-Gharaibeh (1943 in Huwwarah, Irbid – )[1] is a Jordanian academic. He has been involved in education and business administration. He held positions in academia and government.[2]

He served as President of the University of Jordan from 1991 to 1998 and as Jordan's Minister of Education from 1998 to 1999. He also founded and chaired Al-Sharqiyah University in Oman from 2009 to 2014. He was involved in the establishment of the University of Petra.[2]

Gharaibeh earned a PhD in the 1970s. He also obtained an MBA from the University of Wisconsin and Texas Tech University.[2] He completed his bachelor's degree with honors from Cairo University in 1965.[2]
