The 2024–25 season of Dallas Trinity FC is the team's inaugural season as a professional women's soccer team and as well as the first for the USL Super League (USLS), one of two leagues to be in the top tier of women's soccer in the United States.[1]

Background

[edit]

On May 16, 2023, it was announced by the USL that Dallas was selected as 1 of 8 markets to gain team. It would later be confirmed that the United States Soccer Federation would officially sanction the league as Division 1, giving Dallas it's first professional women's soccer team.[2] [3]

In May 2024, the club announced there that they would play their home games at the historic Cotton Bowl and that their home season opener would be on September 7, 2024 against DC Power FC.[4][5]

Adding to the excitement, Dallas Trinity brought in several players who are either from the DFW Metroplex or played in college soccer in the Metroplex including: Hailey Davidson, Haley Berg, Allie Thornton, Gracie Brian, Cyera Hintzen, Enzi Broussard Chioma Ubogagu, Madison White, Samantha Meza and Sam Estrada.[6]

On July 26, 2024 the club announced they would play a friendly against FC Barcelona Femini as part of the team's US Tour on August 30, 2024.[7]
